The SPL and CFPS have agreed to produce a series of combined paintball tournaments that should make for the largest regional events this year. The 2017 SPL First Strike Sunshine State Open will be held in conjunction with the CFPS at Central Florida Paintball in Lakeland, FL.
Our two leagues will be working side by side to offer divisional teams all popular competitive formats. The SPL will run our regular D4 and D5 5-man plus D4/5 and D6 3-man RaceTo-2 formats for SPL and CFPS teams. The CFPS will continue to run NXL Affiliate Xball format for D4 and D3 teams. Getting this together required that both leagues reschedule event dates. The new date for the First Strike Sunshine State Open/CFPS Event #2 is April 8th and 9th, 2017.
